Experiences in South West Thailand

The international resort of Phuket is the hub of the South West Thailand. Home to a myriad of glamorous hotels, Phuket is one of the top destinations for travellers to Asia. It boasts idyllic beaches, lush, jungly nature reserves and an endless choice of hotels from minimalist chic to large family friendly resorts. Its quirky capital town is worth a visit, with its boutique shops and pretty pastel-coloured houses. Peaceful Khao Lak lies to the north and is a perfect place to get away from it all. With miles of white beach on the beautiful Andaman Sea you get a sense of Thailand as it was 20 years ago. With access to the marine national parks of the Similan and Surin Islands and inland the Jungle Khao Sok national park you will not be short of activities if you are able to drag yourself away from the beach. Snorkelling, diving, rafting, jungle trekking and magical elephant encounters are a few of the many activities on offer.
