Facilities & Activities
There are two adult-only pools – one a stone-sided infinity lap pool, the other offering a welcoming dip amongst the green foliage. Additionally, there is a family-friendly pool where little ones can splash around to their heart’s content! A little drink at the swim-up bar is almost mandatory.
There’s a huge choice of activities to keep everyone busy for days and if it’s relaxation you are after, then you’ll be in good hands at the blissful Cocoon Spa! In-house, you’ll find a gym, tennis courts, library, florist, authentic Thai cookery classes and all manner of yoga and pilates to soothe or rejuvenate.
Outside, there’s a further raft of activities. Choose from sea-kayaking, sea cruises, bicycle rides and for those who want to explore the amazing underwater world there are on-site PADI training courses so you can enjoy diving one of the top dive sites in the area. If it’s culture you’re after, then visit the tin-mining museum for a taste of the rich industrial past, take a historical tour of the temples or lose yourself in the vibrant markets of Phuket.

Dining
There’s a huge choice of locations and culinary offerings to choose from. The Tin Mine offers succulent grills and cuts from Thai street food cooking stations set amongst the chic décor. The signatory floating restaurant Black Ginger offers a taste of Thai fine dining (dinner only). Or head to the characterful Rivet Grill and enjoy delicious fusion-style treats from your oversized leather seat ‘pods’- vintage horse carriages no less. For more informal dining there’s the option of Dirty Monstera, showing old classic films as lunch bites and puddings are served. If freshly-made oven-baked pizza with a sunset cocktail is more your thing the Shore Thing will appeal. In-room dining is on offer too – always handy if you have younger children or fancy a night in.
Rooms
Rooms are divided into villas and pool suites, all luxurious, tranquil and located in the beautiful tropical gardens. Plush over-sized beds, rich colours and bold design complement the tropical feel in the large, beautiful D-Buk suites. Enjoy a quiet drink on your private terrace and soak up the sounds of the jungle. The one or two bed Pearl Bed or Shell Suites offer vast spaces with colourful rugs and beautiful polished marble and you can enjoy sweeping views from your private balcony.
The crème de la crème are The Private Pool Villas which offer private gardens as well as plunge pools and are elegantly furnished. They benefit from a private butler and VIP transfers to and from the resort.

Family
It’s a great place to bring your family; the Tin Box Children’s Club will keep youngsters entertained everyday from 08:00-12:00 and then from 13:00-18:00. The lovely attendants will introduce them to the delights of origami, mask-making and local arts and crafts, or perhaps they fancy Little Chef cookery classes, kids boxing, scavenger hunts or a little behind the scenes action as sommelier for a day (not with real wine – obviously!). If they need some quiet time, there’s even a children’s spa! The club is for ages 4+ so younger guests will need to be accompanied by a grown-up. However there is also a babysitting service available on request.
Choose from a great range of family activities for that all-important time together. Choose from walking on an inflatable waterball (hilarious fun and anyone can do it – as long as you don’t care how silly you look). Hire bikes and explore the Nai Yang’s Sirinat National Park to discover a world of ancient temples, pineapple groves, rice fields and a taste of local life. Take the Rainforest Nature Trek from one waterfall to another amidst the lush rainforest. Or rise early and learn about the roots of culture from the revered Thai monks and enjoy a peaceful, more enlightened start to the day.
All the suites offer plenty of space for a family, connecting rooms are available plus extra beds and cots can be provided upon request.
