Australasia

This vast, visually striking region offers endless travel experiences. From snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef and visiting mighty Uluru to sightseeing in Sydney, there’s something for everyone in Australia. Meanwhile, New Zealand offers a range of unmissable experiences to top up your adrenaline levels – though you could just as easily kick back, relax and soak up the long views and fresh air.

Where in Australasia

As seen in...

Australia rightly appears high on many once-in-a-lifetime holiday wishlists. An expansive, magical island, it captures the imagination with its remarkable landmarks, unique wildlife and indigenous Aboriginal culture. From the rugged outback and lush northern rainforests to the extensive coastline edged by the Great Barrier Reef, it’s a challenge to visit all the destinations you’ve dreamed of within two weeks. We recommend saving your adventure for a special holiday, and perhaps combining it with a trip to New Zealand.

There are few places in the world more naturally stunning than the twin islands here.  Dramatic North Island, with its hissing geysers, hot springs and volcanoes, is also the heartland of indigenous Maori culture. Meanwhile, the picturesque Coromandel Peninsula’s charming coves offer an opportunity to explore and relax – perhaps with a glass of wine from one of the many superb vineyards that are scattered across both islands. The South Island has arguably more dramatic landscapes, including the peaks of the snow-capped Southern Alps, majestic ice floes and vast fjords. We also love this region for the wildlife encounters it affords, including whales, dolphins, seals, penguins and even a kiwi!
