Facilities & Activities
The boutique hotel celebrates it’s guests connecting with the natural world around them, and this is kept in mind with the exciting range of activities at ones fingertips. Perched within the rainforest and bordering the Great Barrier Reef, the hotels backdrop remains the only place on Earth where two UNESCO World Heritage Sites converge. In light of this, it is encouraged to hire a car and allow the lodge to serve as a welcome retreat from which to uncover the wonders of the region; such as the mighty Daintree River, the fantastic Cape Tribulation, the tropical town of Port Douglas, and the local treasure of Mossman Gorge
Make time to indulge in the hotels offerings, stroll through the rainforest on a trail to discover the sacred waterfall onsite. After a busy day of exploring, revitalize your mind and body with a soothing experience at the Daintree Wellness Spa, designed to prioritise your sense of well-being. For those still seeking a little activity, there is a modest pool which stands with the tops of the trees, suitable for either a splash, or a sunny spot to unwind.

Dining
‘Julaymba’ , the onsite restaurant, operates with an à la carte breakfast menu consisting of classic breakfast favourites with a subtle Daintree twist, brought to you with fresh seasonal produce from the garden straight to your plate.
In the evenings, the venue showcases its nearby environment by blending local cuisine with a fine-dining experience and presentational flare. Beautifully lit and overlooking the lagoon, the atmosphere is very special. Although the à la carte menu rotates regularly, for guests seeking variation in their dining experiences, a car is perhaps advisable to explore more of the regions culinary offerings.
