Take in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city, by day relax on the cities golden beaches or explore the stunning surrounding mountains by cable car with a stop off at the Christ the Redeemer statue (we’ve included Half Day tours to the iconic sites of Corcovado and Sugar Loaf). By night take advantage of the endless assortment of restaurants and buzzing nightlife.

Day 4-5 | Iguacu Falls

Fly north via a layover in either Sao Paulo or Brasilia to reach Brazil’s Pantanal region, famous for its abundance and variety of wildlife.  It’s a long journey (3.5 hours by road after your double flight) but worth it! Embark on safaris to spot jaguars,  caimans, capyburas and howler monkeys, to name but a few species and the bird life is truly phenomenal. With comfortable yet authentic accommodation these few days will provide an unforgettable experience in a truly unique part of the world.

Brimming with unforgettable memories, today it’s time to embark on your journey home overnight.  Recife is an international airport, so there are some flights directly back to Europe, or connect with your internal flight back to Sao Paulo and your direct flight back to the UK.
