Dining

The hotel’s restaurant Marine Resto located adjacent to the lobby and infinity pool on the 6th floor is no doubt worth a visit, after all where is better to enjoy an impressive array of fresh seafood dishes than overlooking the sparkling ocean and the buzz of Copacabana beach. The restaurant has an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere making it an ideal spot for groups of all types.  On the same level the Spirit Copa Bar offers guests the opportunity to sip one of many locally inspired cocktails while overlooking the iconic Sugar Loaf, the bar also offers tapas and an exciting mixology experience.

Fairmont Rio de Janeiro boasts 375 rooms including 53 suites, all of which are spacious and luxurious, with design inspired by the vibrant hues of blue of the Copacabana Sea. All rooms come equipped with a digital safe, minibar but many also feature stunning views over golden Copacabana beach to Sugarloaf mountain in the background and the vibrant skyline of Rio.

Fairmont Rooms have a city view and are 35 square metres in size but we recommend Deluxe Rooms – these are similar in size but have the added benefits of either a front ocean or Arpoador view and a balcony, which is a great addition given the setting. Both of these Room types sleep 2 people and come with either 1 King Size Bed or 2 Double Beds and a 55-inch TV.

The One Bedroom Suites, have view of the Ocean or the famous Sugar Loaf and come with a balcony to take it all in. An impressive 70 square metres in size, with sophisticated locally inspired design, and King bed, they include a separate living area and bedroom.

Guests staying in a Fairmont Gold Junior Suite with King Bed, 55 square metres in total, comes with either an ocean or city view and the added amenities of Gold Lounge access for cocktails, a gourmet breakfast and private check in and check out.
