Facilities & Activities

There are a number of sporting facilities and activities available to keep you occupied and entertained during your stay, with yoga classes, a well-equipped fitness centre, and tennis courts all at your disposal. The hotel has a labyrinth of pools that wind throughout its entirety alongside individual larger pools to enjoy, in total these make up over 6000 square metres of water. The resort’s spa also offers a range of treatments and services to help guests relax and rejuvenate.

Guests can enjoy a variety of water sports and activities, including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding on the lagoon below the hotel, accessed by steps from the gardens (please note the beach area is quite narrow, especially at high tide).  Excursions to nearby attractions such as the historic city of Olinda or the Porto de Galinhas natural pools, where you can snorkel at low tide, can also be arranged alongside scuba diving.

The hotel has two different dining options, the first of which being ‘NANNAI’, the main restaurant, attractively set on several levels overlooking the pool, serving an impressive buffet for breakfast and dinner with an al a carte option for lunch, offering a fusion between local and international cuisine.

The second option is the new a la carte restaurant ‘AuntTe’ located across the pool with views to the ocean, showcasing an assortment of fresh seafood dishes and more in a refined yet casual atmosphere.

A highlight of a stay at the Nannai is also their famed afternoon tea, typically serverd 17:00 – 18:00, it is a veritable feast!


The Nannai has a wide array of different room types, all are spacious and tastefully designed with air-conditioning.

Garden Apartments offer 45 square metres of living space with a balcony, sleeping up to 3 adults and 1 child whilst  Sea View Apartments have the added benefit of a second balcony and a superior view.

The Nannai’s signature Room Type however has to be their beautiful thatched bungalows, with the same maximum occupancy. Garden Bungalows offer a generous 64 square metres with quirky, wooden design, a spacious veranda and many featuring a private pool!  The others are connected to adjacent bungalows via an extensive system of swimmable waterways.  Sea View Bungalows of course offer ocean views.

The Suite Villas offer an expansive 90 metres square of space with private garden, pool and separate living room and terrace whilst Master Bungalows are set over two stories with an impressive array of amenities such as a home cinema, private pool, living room all with a view of the sparkling ocean.

Children are welcome at the Nannai and with all the swimming pools alongside the lagoon and beach there is plenty of space for them to explore and be active.

All rooms can sleep 3 people and one child aged 6 or under and there is also an on-site kids club if you have younger travellers in tow.

The resort is located Brazils north-eastern coast close to the city of Recife, it can be reached via a 45-minute transfer from Recife Airport.
