OBLU Nature Helengeli by Sentido

Encircled by seas of jade and fringed by ivory beaches, OBLU is a slice of island paradise.

The resort re-opened in December 2023 after a major refurbishment. An all-new vibrant look with stunning water villas, beach villas enhanced with private pools, and a speciality restaurant – Raga Route.

Its stellar reef surrounds the whole island, making this a playground for diving and snorkelling. Ideal for active families, its all-inclusive basis makes this a good value option.

Facilities & Activities

A central family pool is set on the beach and features a lap section, ideal for a pre-breakfast fitness hit. The resort also features an adults-only pool, for when parents want a little down-time. Children and adults will both enjoy the bar’s relaxation areas, complete with table tennis, pool and board games.

A PADI certified dive school and water sports centre offers trips suited to everyone from those looking to take their first breath underwater to seasoned pros. And with more than 20 dive sites nearby, you’re sure to spot something different every time.

Since the refurbishment you now have a choice between Deluxe Beach Villas or Deluxe Beach Villas with a private pool. Or opt for a Lagoon Villa, perched half on land and half on water, which features a plunge pool overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Brand new rooms are the Sunrise and Sunset Water Villas each with private pools and Water Suite with Pool which is more spacious offering a living room and sprawling deck.

Bright and comfortable, rooms have all the mod cons you’d expect, such as TVs and WIFI, as well as outside showers. Villas can take 2 adults and 2 child, but larger families should consider the new 2 Bedroom Villas.

Designed for families, the 2-Bedroom Family Villas with Pool and 2-Bedroom Beach Suite with Pool are the perfect holiday homes with direct beach access. These suites include a spacious master bedroom, kids’ room with twin beds and a private pool, ensuring plenty of space for everyone. They can take up to 4 adults plus 1 child.

The dedicated children’s club & nature centre has an onsite biologist – so children have the opportunity to learn all about the sea life.

Children must be aged at least 14 years, or accompanied by an adult, to take part in non-motorised water sports such as paddle boarding and canoeing.

Youngsters will love spotting dolphins, turtles and fish while snorkelling with parents, and there’s a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant that works well for families. Flexible accommodation options means there should be a variety of different room types to suit you and your family’s needs.

OBLU has a sustainability management plan that aims to improve the hotels sustainability, reduce the long term environmental impact and increase the welfare of employees and guests. Their policies prioritise social, economic and environmental factors.
