If you only have a week to spare and you are after a bit of adventure & wild life but also combined with some rest & relaxation – this itinerary has just that! Visiting the famous Masai Mara to get a good dose of wildlife followed by a bit of sea air on the Kenyan Coast to rejuvenate the soul.

Guide Price & Inclusions
4 nights Masai Mara Safari, 4 nights Kenyan Coast and 1 night Nairobi £4,950 per adult and £2,950 per child under 12 sharing including flights, road and air transfers and accommodation on an All Inclusive basis for Safari and Bed & Breakfast for Beach and Nairobi. Subject to travel dates and accommodation choice.
Suggested Extensions
There is an option to add a night or two in the city of Nairobi at either the start of end of your itinerary allowing time to visit the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary.
Or stop over in Rwanda, for a 3 night extension to see the Mountain Gorillas!
Best Time to Travel
Best time to visit Kenya is from June to October with your focus being on safari and a chance to see the migration. April – May are the long rains so best to avoid.
Tips for Families
Lodges like Kicheche Mara have a fabulous kids programme, where they not only learn to track and identify animal spoor but also learn to make bows & arrows and survival skills from you own Masai warrior. They also have a new family tent (sleeps 5) as well as quad tents sleeping up to 4 persons.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Fly Overnight to Nairobi, Kenya
Depart Heathrow Airport for an overnight flight to Nairobi.
British Airways offer a day flight to Nairobi, arriving late evening so an overnight in Nairobi would be required.
Day 2 | Transfer by light aircraft to the Masai Mara
Morning arrival into Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where you will be met and transferred by road to Wilson Airport in time for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara.
Enjoy 4 nights spotting wildlife in this world famous reserve.
Day 3-5 | Explore the Masai Mara
Spend the next 3 days enjoying game walks (minimum age limit applies) and 4×4 game drives in the bush, where you can get up close to plains game such a giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Predators such as lion, leopard and hyena are in abundance and make for an action packed safari experience.
Day 6 | Light aircraft flight from Masai Mara to Diani Beach
After breakfast you will be collected and transferred back to the airstrip in time for your light aircraft flight from the Masai Mara to Diani Beach via Wilson Airport.
From there just a short road transfer to your beach hotel to enjoy the next 4 nights on the beach.
Day 7-9 | Enjoy time on the South Coast of Kenya
Spend the next few days sunning on the beach or for those who are still after an activity or two there is horse riding, snorkelling, boat trips, fishing and more!
Day 10 | Transfer back to Ukunda Airport to fly back to Nairobi
Today you will be transferred back to Ukunda Airport for your flight back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. On arrival you will transfer to your Airport Hotel at Jomo Kenyatta Airport to overnight.
Day 11 | Transfer to Nairobi Airport
This morning, catch the hotels complimentary shuttle back to the Airport in time for your flight home.
