Overnight stop in Nairobi, 2 nights Samburu, 2 nights Lewa and 3 nights Masai Mara safari £8,300 per adult and £6,300 per child under 12 sharing including flights, road and air transfers and accommodation on an All Inclusive basis whilst on Safari.
Rates subject to travel dates and hotel selection.
Suggested Extensions
There is an option to add an additional night or two in the city of Nairobi or extend the number of night at Lewa or Samburu. Alternatively if you are after something else – why not head to Zanzibar to complete this trip with some water sports and time on the beach.
Best Time to Travel
Best time to visit Kenya is from June to October with your focus being on safari and a chance to see the migration. April – May are the long rains so best to avoid.
Tips for Families
Lodges like Kicheche Mara have a fabulous kids programme, where they not only learn to track and identify animal spoor but also learn to make bows & arrows and survival skills from you own Masai warrior. They also have a new family tent (sleeps 5) as well as quad tents sleeping up to 4 persons.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Day flight to Nairobi, Kenya
Depart Heathrow Airport for a day flight to Nairobi with British Airways.
Arrive late evening and transfer to your Airport Hotel to overnight.
Kenya Airways offers an overnight flight if preferred.
Day 2 | Transfer by light aircraft to Samburu from Wilson Airport
After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Wilson Airport in time for your light aircraft flight to Samburu.
Day 3 | Explore Samburu
Highlights of this region are the Singing Wells (dry season) and a visit to the Retiti Elephant Orphanage.
Day 4-5 | Transfer from Samburu to Lewa
After breakfast you will be collected and transferred by road to Lewa.
Explore this region for the next 2 nights.
There is a lot to keep you busy today – there is an option to go either horse or camel riding whilst game viewing, swimming in waterfalls, tree top walks and a very good chance to spot some rhino!
Day 6 | Transfer from Lewa to Masai Mara
Light aircraft from Lewa back to Wilson Airport and then onto the Masai Mara for the next 3 nights.
Day 7-8 | Wildlife spotting in the Masai Mara
Spend the next 2 days enjoying game walks (age limit) and 4×4 game drives in the bush, where you can get up close to plains game such a giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Predators such as lion, leopard and hyena are in abundance and make for an action packed safari experience.
Day 9 | Fly back to Nairobi and connect with your flight to the UK
Say farewell to Kenya today as you fly back to Wilson Airport from the Mara by light aircraft. If time allows a quick visit at the Daphne Sheldrik Elephant Sanctuary and Giraffe Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum.
Evening flight home to the UK.
