Facilities & Activities
At Roca River Camp, days can be as adventurous or as laid-back as you choose.
Every couple / family enjoys their own private safari vehicle with a dedicated guide and spotter, allowing every game drive to be tailored around your interests — whether that’s tracking the Big Five at sunrise, enjoying sundowners in the bush, or stopping to explore the smaller details of the wilderness.
Back at camp, guests can relax in the comfortable lounge spaces, enjoy a spa treatment or massage overlooking the river, or later in the evening sip a gin n tonic around the cosy fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars.
With the camp set directly on the Mara River, wildlife viewing continues even between activities, from resident hippos and curious mongoose to an impressive variety of birdlife. Cultural visits to local Masai communities can also be arranged, while hot air balloon safaris over the plains offer an unforgettable extra experience.

Dining
Dining here is an experience in itself. Expect fresh, flavourful dishes inspired by both local and international cuisine, served in beautiful open-air settings along the banks of the Mara River.
From hearty breakfasts before early game drives to leisurely lunches and atmospheric dinners by lantern light, every meal feels special. Don’t miss the classic bush dinner or a traditional safari sundowner in the wild — gin and tonic in hand as the African sun sinks below the horizon, painting the vast Mara skies in deep reds, golds and burnt orange tones.

Six of the tents can be arranged as doubles, twins or triples, making them flexible for different travellers, while the three family tents feature a double and twin bedroom, both en suite and connected by a shared lounge — ideal for families or groups wanting to stay together in a private, spacious setting.
