Experiences in Victoria

The Inner Harbour is home to Victoria’s wonderful collection of heritage buildings. Take a stroll along the waterfront admiring the Parliament buildings and iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel. ’Afternoon Tea at the Empress’ is a memorable experience but make sure you book in advance or take a horse drawn carriage and discover this historic city in style!

Just outside the city, one of the most popular attractions is Butchart Gardens, a beautiful 130-acre country estate with year-round splendour.

The picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf area is well worth a visit and home to colourful floating houses. Enjoy fish and chips on the pier while keeping your eyes peeled for the wharf’s resident seals.

To learn more about British Columbia’s human and natural history head to the Royal BC Museum and IMAX, one of the city’s most popular attractions. It’s home to superb collection of First Nations art and the kids will love the life-size wooly mammoth!

Get out on the water and enjoy the ocean vistas with sea kayaking or a boat excursion. During the warmer months whale watching trips are also very popular for a chance to spot the orcas and other marine and bird life that are attracted to the area to feed.
