Experiences in Nyerere National Park

Nyerere, is Africa’s largest National Park, twice the size of Kruger National Park. With a vast and thriving wildlife, its ecosystem comprises forests and woodlands surrounding the lagoons and sandbanks of the Rufiji River. Unlike the other National Parks, Nyerere offers the option of both walking and boating safaris and most camps will arrange fly-camping nights out in the bush. Wildlife attracted to the banks of the river includes elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, crocodile and wild dog.
