Sustainability

The hotel have removed as much plastic as possible (in the rooms guests are provided with glasses and refillable water containers). For every guest that stays, the hotel also donates to the local Thalpe recycling centre, which makes a huge effort in educating local businesses and residents on plastic pollution and organising beach clean ups.  The hotel also uses solar power for heating water and grey water for the garden.   For dining, the hotel grows some herbs and vegetables and sources remaining ingredients locally wherever possible, ensuring they reduce transport use whilst supporting local businesses.
