The Oberoi offers a blend of traditional Egyptian and Indian cuisine. The Restaurant is the main place to eat, serving International cuisine all day. Its open-air courtyard, flanked by arches and columns, feels grand but the atmosphere is relaxed. Enjoy the morning sun at breakfast or the cool Egyptian breeze at dinner.

Relaxed poolside dining is also available at The Pergola, allowing guests to enjoy Mediterranean or Far East cuisine with interrupted Red Sea views. Zaafran serves authentic Indian fare with candlelit tables, live music and a silver leaf ceiling.

The resort also offers a stylish bar, with a large indoor space of polished wood and Spanish marble making it the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink.

The accommodation at The Oberoi comprises opulent suites laid out in small clusters to ensure privacy and unspoilt views of the surroundings. The suites come in 4 different categories – Deluxe, Superior Deluxe, Grand and Royal. All are bright and elegant, with marble bathtubs, king-sized beds and large windows.

The Superior Deluxe Suites are situated on the beachfront and feature walk-in wardrobes, while the Grand Suites are even larger and have private pools and terraces. For a regal experience, the Royal Suites span 225 square metres, with a living room, powder room and a canopied dining area by the private pool.

There’s an abundance of space for children to explore, whether they want to play in the gardens or swim in the huge sea-front pool with its designated children’s section. The incredible snorkelling provides an exciting yet educational experience. The hotel also has a child activity centre with indoor and outdoor play areas, and there are child-friendly activities, such as stargazing and treasure hunts.

A rollaway bed can be placed in the Suites for 1 child under 12 years sharing. Please note that no twin-bedded rooms are available – although 2 mattresses can be included on a King base.  One set of connecting Suites is also available. A children’s menu is available in The Restaurant.

The hotel has a food waste policy and grows it’s own fruit and vegetables for the restaurant.  A recycling plan is in place across all areas of the hotel, separating in to glass, paper, plastic and organic waste whilst examples of how water use is minimised includes the installation of ‘smart’ showers and low-flow toilets as well as using drought-resistant plants in the garden.

In terms of community, local artists are offered a platform to show their talents and local guides and businesses are used wherever possible.

Situated on the shores of the Red Sea, the hotel is a 30-minute drive from Hurghada Airport, offering convenient access by air. It takes around 4-hours to reach Luxor by road, and 6-hours to get to Cairo.
