The resort offers an abundance of water-related activities. A superb house reef allows for snorkelling right off the beach, whilst boat trips are also available for those looking to explore reefs further afield. 

The Red Sea is famous for its spectacular diving and marine life, so this is the perfect place for those interested to try scuba diving for the first time with an on-site dive centre. For seasoned divers, 76 recognised dive sites are within a day’s boat ride. The dive centre also offers yacht charters. 

There are 4 main pools – including a shallow children’s pool – plus 3 tennis courts and a gym. The spa has 12 treatment rooms, offering traditional and Egyptian-themed massages, such as the Cleopatra and Pharaonic massages. Complimentary classes include Pilates, yoga and whole-body workouts

With 12 different dining experiences offering a variety of flavours and styles, you’re spoilt for choice. Yatai, the resort’s Asian-inspired signature restaurant, has a trendy yet formal atmosphere. Expect an exciting and interactive experience with chef-seated stations allowing guests to watch the preparation of dishes such as sushi, dim sum and Peking duck. 

Zitouni is another excellent option for either breakfast or dinner, serving traditional Lebanese cuisine, freshly prepared in a bright and modern atmosphere. 

Those craving 5-star quality pasta should head to Il Frantoio, the resort’s Italian restaurant. Its indoor-outdoor design creates an upscale ambience that can be enjoyed under the stars in summer or by the fireplace in winter. 

Arabesque serves Middle Eastern dishes and al fresco breakfasts, while Reef Grill is a casual seafood restaurant, with panoramic views of the Red Sea.

Sails Lounge has a dramatic clifftop setting that’s just the spot for a sundowner, while Luna offers poolside dining with a Latin American menu. 

Other options include Waha for a lunchtime snack and Gezira, which is a casual spot for sandwiches and lunches in the sun. Breeze serves a mean cocktail with a beachfront location, while the Citadel and Observatory lounges provide a more formal backdrop.


Spacious and elegantly designed, there are a variety of room types, most with balconies or terraces offering a sea view.  

The Superior Palm View Guest Rooms offer king, or twin beds, while the Deluxe Sea View Rooms offer the same with the addition of a sofa bed and spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces. 

Chalets are available for those seeking extra space or enjoying a longer stay. These feature separate bedrooms and a full kitchenette. A larger, 4-Bedroom Villa is also available with its own pool. 

A number of opulent suites are also available. The Junior Suite provides a large living space and a plunge pool. 

Those looking for the true pinnacle of Red Sea luxury may be tempted by the 3 Signature Suites – The Royal, Presidential and The Palace. These standalone residences are the choice of countless world leaders and elite, the latter 2 coming with not just their own pool but a private beach!


This resort is hugely family-friendly, with a free children’s entertainment programme, children’s pools, kids’ club and a teen centre. 

The “Kids for All Seasons” programme is designed for children aged 4-12 years, offering engaging daily activities, such as arts and crafts classes, treasure hunts and tennis.  For those with older families, the teen centre is a useful addition, with pool tables, table tennis and a PlayStation. 

There are also beach games and nature walks for the whole family to enjoy together. All this, coupled with the lush gardens, beautiful private beach, large rooms and abundance of swimming pools, make this a very attractive option for any family visiting Egypt.

Many room types can accommodate 2 children under 12 years on a sofa bed, while Suites and Chalets are an option for families of up to 5. 4-Bedroom Villas are available for larger groups.

Located on the Sinai Peninsula, in a perched position overlooking the Red Sea, the resort occupies a prime spot for snorkelers and divers. It’s also a short hop from Sharm El Sheikh Airport, which is a 10-minute drive away. The edge of the desert is around a half-hour drive away, for dune buggy excursions.
