2 nights Galle & 7 nights Tangalle beach £2,900 per adult and £2,700 per child under 12 sharing including flights, transfers and accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis in Galle and half board for the beach stay.

Suggested Extensions
Add an exciting jeep safari in Uda Walawe National Park for the chance to encounter Sri Lanka’s much-loved elephants along with a host of other bird and wildlife.
Best Time to Travel
The weather on Sri Lanka’s south-west coast is generally at its best from December to April. However, year-round the currents can be strong so many beaches are more suited to surfing than swimming.
Tips for Families
If you are seeking more space and privacy there are some beautiful private houses on the South Coast that come complete with staff, including a chef, allowing you a flexible and personal shared experience with friends and family.

Itinerary
DAY 1 | FLY TO COLOMBO, SRI LANKA
Take a daytime flight from London to Colombo (11 hours) and transfer directly to your Galle hotel (approx. 2 hours). Alternatively, if your flight arrives late in the evening or you prefer a rest-stop on arrival we can recommend a beautifully restored old colonial manor house a stone’s throw from the airport.
DAY 2 | GALLE
A full day to explore Galle Fort, a captivating city steeped in history with Dutch Colonial buildings, ancient churches and museums. The cobbled streets are lined with cafes, hotels and craft shops along with some wonderful restaurants to sample.
DAYS 3-9 | TANGALLE
Enjoy the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality with a week relaxing at the Anantara Peace Haven Resort. Set on a picturesque golden beach with palm trees and rocky coves, this fabulous hotel offers luxurious accommodation, wonderful dining and a host of activities and excursions to enjoy.
Transfer time from Galle to Tangalle approx. 1.5 hours.
DAY 10 | FLY BACK TO THE UK
Transfer to the airport (approx. 3 hours) for your overnight flight back to London (11 hours).
