Best Time to Travel
This itinerary is popular year round pending how hot you like it, or what strength you would like to see the Falls at.
November to March is usually warm and green with the falls being at a lower flow. April to October is typically dry so the best time to spot animals – it’s cool but starts to warm up in September again. The Falls are best seen at their most powerful from March to July.
Tips for Families
Victoria Falls and Hwange are both malarial regions, however travelling in the winter months (June – September) is less risk due to the cold. Victoria Falls has heaps to do by way of activities for families of all ages. Hwange lodges allow children from age 7 years and up, but exceptions can be made.
Highlights
