Hwange National Park
Nehimba Lodge

The welcoming Nehimba Lodge is situated within a large private concession within the Northern region of Hwange National Park. Part of the Imvelo Group which includes Bomani & Camelthorn in Southern Hwange, you can expect high standards and some truly sublime wildlife experiences.

This camp has a lovely wild feel about it and is known for its close-up elephant encounters. Please note that this camp is seasonal and closes in the wet months of January – February.

Facilities & Activities

The centrepiece of the whole lodge is the main deck which overlooks the pool and water-hole. The latter is where the action is at with elephants coming right up to the edge of the deck to drink out of the pool during dry season. If you can drag yourself away from the water-hole there are wildlife activities galore – game-drives, night-drives and game-walks are all on offer. There are various water-holes and viewing decks within this area of the National Park, as well as the Nehimba Seeps – where elephant dig for water in the dry season.

The main lodge area has Wi-Fi, lounge and dining area as well as a small boma and swimming pool (elephant bar!)
