Facilities & Activities

The boat has a number of amenities onboard to help ensure the trip is a truly unforgettable experience, from a heated swimming pool on the top deck, to an outdoor bar for sundowners on the lower deck.

WIFI is accessible throughout the entire boat at an extra charge however given the surroundings we doubt you will want to spend much time looking at your screens!

Of course, the highlight of this cruise is all the fascinating sites you will see and visit along the way, with countless stories to be told by the boats excellent on-board Egyptologists.

Your trip will start in Luxor, where you will have the opportunity to explore wonders such as Luxor Temple and the famous Valley of the Kings. Following that you will head south to see Karnak temple and Esna, with afternoon tea awaiting you on your return. The cruise will then sail to Kom Ombo to visit its temple, located at a bend in the Nile where sacred Crocodiles used to reside. From there you will head down to Aswan in the far south of the country, where you can see the Philae Temple and take a traditional Felucca around the sights of the town, all to wrap up a unique 4-day adventure.

Dining

Expect 3 meals of the finest quality everyday served aboard in the restaurant on the main deck, with attentive and professional wait staff, there will be buffets and themed events on certain nights of the trip and fine a la carte cuisine on others.

There is also a lounge bar on the Bridge Deck which serves as the perfect spot to have a drink while watching the world go by.

Rooms

Expect stylish contemporary design with heavy art deco influences in all the cabins aboard, the first room type is the Standard cabin but don’t let the name fool you, they all have floor to ceiling windows with the exception of the ones on the Nile deck, air conditioning, mini bar and a flat screen TV. The size of these rooms varies from 15 to 18 metres squared and come with a king bed or twin on request.

The Presidential Suites are a larger 38 metres squared, with the obvious added benefit of a private living space, with the beautiful upholstery to be expected from a boat of this calibre. The final room-type are the Royal Suites, at a whopping 55 square metres it would be easy to forget that you were even on a boat if it wasn’t for the stunning scenery passing you by outside your windows. These rooms also boast a balcony which is always great.

Please note there is a minimum age of 10 years old on the boat.

An additional bed can be added to a cabin, but connecting rooms are not available.

Location

The 4 Day trip begins in the city of Luxor, with the dock being on Awameya Street next to the Sheraton Luxor Resort. Luxor can be reached via a 1-hour flight from Cairo.
