Facilities & Activities

On its Main Deck, the Endemic features 2 platforms for embarking and disembarking.  The main social areas have a loft-style design with an internal stairway leading to suites and facilities on the upper deck.  There is also a spacious sitting / briefing area where guests can flick through books or watch a video before setting off on their next adventure.  The bar and dining areas also offer panoramic views of the islands as you you enjoy the delicious offerings!

The Sky Deck is perhaps the most beautiful and inviting outdoor area. The passenger sky lounge offers al-fresco dining, a whirlpool, and an outdoor bar, making it the perfect place for watching the Galapagos flora and fauna float by.

The 3, 4 and 7-night itineraries include twice daily excursions to get close to the Galapagos wildlife, either on land or on the water, all accompanied by a fantastic naturalist guide. Spend your days walking across lava fields, snorkelling with sea lions, turtles, and penguins, and kayaking past dolphins and an array of colourful bird species. Activities include glass-bottom kayaking, snorkelling, Zodiac rides and hiking, all with the goal of getting up close to the incredible endemic wildlife. Evenings offer nature talks

Snorkelling equipment, wetsuits, and kayak and paddle board use are included with your cruise.

Guests cruise on a fully inclusive basis (alcoholic and bottled beverages extra). Meals are always made from fresh ingredients, locally provided from farms on the islands whenever possible. Special dietary needs are never a problem, and kids’ meals are available.

Your onboard chef prepares 3 delicious, nutritious meals per day: breakfast and frequently lunch will be served buffet-style, with a more elegant sit-down dinner served in the al fresco dining area on the sky deck, weather permitting. Snacks and soft drinks are served whenever you return from a shore landing or activity and tea and coffee are available throughout the day.

There are 4 Golden Suites on the main deck, 2 of which have front-facing windows plus a private balcony with panoramic sliding glass doors. The 2 suites located at the port of the catamaran can interconnect – ideal for families or small groups. All suites feature private and spacious restrooms bathed in natural light thanks to frosted and tempered glass walls.

Four more panoramic Golden Suites are available on the upper deck as well as a single cabin at the port of the vessel (no single supplement will be applied).

The Suites can all accommodate either a king-sized bed or twin beds. They feature panoramic windows with a glass sliding door to your private balcony. Each has a workstation, a smart phone dock, reading lamp, night table, independent controls for the air conditioning system, and a safe.

Binoculars and waterproof action cameras are provided for each suite so you can document your activities out on the water and enjoy better views of the wildlife.

This incredible mega-catamaran was custom-designed and built especially for cruising the azure waters of the ecologically sensitive Galapagos Islands, home to awe-inspiring biodiversity and multiple species of wildlife. The on-board naturalist guide creates land and see-based itineraries consistent with the activities authorised by the Galapagos National Park.

To protect such amazing wildlife, there is a water purifying system, and responsible waste management systems, including the tagging of biodegradable and recycled items and the avoidance of plastic usage. Such environmental practices contributed to Golden Galapagos Cruises winning The Latin American Travel Association (LATA) 2019 Achievement Award for Cruise Operator of the Year.
