Horathapola Estate
Hidden in the beautifully lush landscapes of rural Sri Lanka, Horathapola is a plantation bungalow which dates from the early 1900 and has been beautifully restored by a local family to offer charming and authentic accommodation.
The guesthouse sits on a fully functioning organic coconut estate of roughly 50 acres and sustains the livelihoods of about 30 families living in the neighbouring village. With 5 bedrooms and a separate lodge, the estate is the perfect place to unwind in comfort at the start or end of your holiday.
