The Wallawwa

The Wallawwa, an old colonial manor house, has been lovingly restored to provide 18 beautifully furnished bedrooms and suites nestled in 200-year-old tropical gardens.

Close to the Airport, but as far removed from an airport hotel as you could possibly imagine this wonderful hotel with its jungle pool, heavenly spa and fine cuisine is the perfect way to begin or indeed end your Sri Lankan adventure in style!

Facilities & Activities

The Wallawwa is an extremely comfortable hotel with the facilities that you would expect of a property of this calibre including a fabulous pool set in the quiet corner of the established gardens, also a fine spot for a game of croquet. The hotel shop offers a collection of interesting, colourful and inexpensive gifts and you can feel good about shopping too with every single rupee of profit going to the Wallawwa’s chosen charity.

The Z Spa is The Wallawwa’s exclusive spa, designed to help guests relax and unwind before or after a long journey. The Spa doesn’t have set opening times – the team is flexible to cater to your specific arrival and departure times. However, to avoid disappointment, booking as early as possibly is advised – particularly in high season or if a double treatment room is required.
