Facilities & Activities

With acres of exotic gardens, glorious beaches with the finest white sand lapped by crystal clear waters, you could quite easily spend all of your time at the Constance Ephélia relaxing and luxuriating in your stunning surroundings. As well as unwinding in one of the 4 swimming pools, there is an exceptional Shiseido Spa which is sure to relax and rejuvenate; as well as offering an exclusive range of treatments inspired by the best International and Indian Ocean spa techniques, there is a yoga pavilion, dry and steam saunas and several thermal pools – peace and tranquillity is guaranteed!

If you’re keen to do something active then you will certainly not be disappointed. The resort has a fully equipped gym, complimentary bikes, tennis and squash courts and a fantastic water sports centre where you can try sailing on a catamaran, windsurfing, pedalos and kayaks. It is also possible to arrange scuba diving and fishing; there is a PADI certified dive centre at the resort and courses can be arranged on request.

There are also 5 boutiques offering everything from sumptuous body lotions and handmade craft gifts to clothing and basic day-to-day items. The resort really has thought of everything, so you won’t need to venture far; making this a true break from it all.

Dining

The Constance Ephélia has 5 unique restaurants and bars offering a great selection of dining experiences that offer beautifully crafted food made with the freshest ingredients and stunning flavours.

The main buffet restaurant is Corossol and features chef stations with a range of international cuisine including a grill, pizza oven and an Asian station with a wok and tandoori oven, one of the best in the Indian Ocean in our view. If you enjoy Mediterranean food then you will love Helios, which has a large wood-burning oven and is perfect for a relaxed lunch.

Adam and Eve is an elegant sand-floored restaurant offering a relaxed dining option with a fabulous open kitchen serving up salads, fish and meat dishes. For fine dining, there is the Cyann which has stunning views over Port Launay Marine Park.

Seselwa has a great location on the North Beach and serves buffet-style a la carte food throughout the day; the fresh seafood is particularly good!

Rooms

The elegantly contemporary accommodation is extremely spacious and varied, so will suit everyone, from couples to families. There are 42 Tropical Garden View Rooms, 184 Junior Suites, 40 Senior Suites, 22 Family Villas, 16 Beach Villas, 8 Hillside Villas, and 1 Presidential Villa.

All the suites have a large bedroom and sitting area, and feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary WIFI, LCD TV, mac mini, iPod connection, CD & DVD, telephone, mini-bar and safe. The luxurious bathrooms have double vanities, separate shower, and hairdryers.

The Junior and Senior Suites are found on the South side of the resort and face the sea. Set over two floors, each comes with a spacious outdoor terrace. If you really want to treat yourself to something special then the Beach Villas are perfect. Set on the North Beach, they come with two bedrooms and a private dining pavilion for those special occasions when you might want some privacy, but best of all, you have your own private butler on hand to ensure you have everything you need.

The Hillside Villas have either one or two bedrooms and feature private plunge pools. They are tucked away in a private position so feel very secluded. Finally, for the ultimate in luxury, there is the huge beautiful Presidential Villa which comes with 3 bedrooms and stunning ocean views.

Family

Constance Ephélia is the perfect destination for active families relishing an exotic setting. There is a great children’s club and Family Villas are available. The complimentary Mini Club accepts children aged 4-12 years old and is open daily from 9am until 10pm. Within the Mini Club there is a games room and dining area and there are plenty of fun indoor and outdoor activities organised for kids as well as excursions. Babysitting is also available upon request for an additional charge.

While 1 child can share a Suite, those with connecting doors are also available for larger families of splash out on a Family Villa which features 3 bedrooms, private pool and outdoor dining area in a private courtyard.

Sustainability

In 2013, Constance Ephélia started their environmental sustainability performance program, with four key areas of focus: environmental, socio-cultural, quality and health and safety. This includes: raising environmental awareness, choosing energy and water efficient equipment, protecting natural and cultural values of the surroundings & marine life conservation. Whilst also focusing on: encouraging biodiversity, protecting human rights of the local community and encouraging community engagement within the workforce.

Location

The Constance Ephélia Resort is set on the South-West side of Mahé, within 120 hectares of land with luxuriant and rare vegetation.
Mahé International Airport is just a 40 minute drive away.
