Blue Waters

Set in a secluded cove within 17 acres of lush tropical gardens and with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea,  Blue Waters offers an elegant escape with a friendly welcome.

Guests here are truly spoilt with an excellent choice of classic plantation style rooms, suites and villas and 3 beach coves with perfect swimming. Dining

There are 3 fantastic restaurants at the resort serving both local and International cuisine and guests can enjoy styles ranging from al fresco casual food to fine dining. There are also 2 great bars to choose from.

The Palm Restaurant, set in an open-sided plantation building, offers guests the option of eating outside on a shaded patio. It serves an excellent breakfast, varied lunch options and in the evening you can enjoy memorable live music alongside an ever-changing menu.

Enjoy lunch on the terrace at Carolyn’s, the new pool and beach side food and drink service allows to guest to relax over lunch whilst looking out over the beautiful sea view.

For some of the best views in the Caribbean and fabulous food to match head to the Cove Restaurant.  This fine dining establishment offers dishes such as lobster and prime cuts of beef combining Caribbean and French cuisine. The restaurant’s main menu is included when booking an All Inclusive holiday, there are surcharges for the Connoisseur’s Choice menu. Booking is recommended.

Rooms

The resort has an excellent variety of accommodation including 56 rooms, 29 suites, 4 penthouses and 5 villas. These are located beach front or on the hillside overlooking the garden or, in the case of Cove Suites, in the secluded far end of the resort.

Interiors here are elegant, clean and crisp. All rooms and suites include king size beds with en-suite bathrooms, balcony with sea or garden view, flat screen TV, complimentary WiFi, air conditioning, mini bar, safe, hair dryer, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Deluxe Beachfront Rooms: these are yards from the resort’s main beach, have great sea views, a patio or balcony and sleep 2 adults and 1 child under 12 years.

Luxury Suites: these are located a few yards from the beach and two of the resort’s wonderful pools. Accommodation is extremely spacious with a separate living and bedroom area that opens onto a double balcony. These sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

The Cove Suites and Penthouses: these spacious accommodations comprise three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining room and Jacuzzi. These have wonderful views of the gardens and sea and a beautiful private balcony.

Turtle Cottage: this is a stunning 4 bedroom villa with king size beds and luxury bathrooms, the villa also has an light and airy living and dining area , patio and of course beautiful pool that overlooks the Caribbean ocean.

Pelican House: located behind the second of the resort’s beaches with spectacular sea views this is perfect for families or groups. Pelican House is two interconnecting villas, each villa has 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, kitchen, patio or balcony and the villas pool. It is available for 3 to 6 bedrooms, depending on requirements (whether both villas are needed or not).

Rock Cottage: this beautiful 5 bedroomed villa is perhaps the best accommodation in the resort and one of the island’s most private escapes, yet is only a short walk from the resort’s facilities. Set on its own rocky outcrop it offers stunning views of the sea on three sides. There are 5 bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, several sundecks, BBQ area and private infinity pool. It can sleep up to 9 adults and 3 children. There is a night watchman on site and the option to use a powerboat and skipper plus your own private chef!

Family

Children will enjoy the array of water sports available at Blue Waters.  There is also a Games Room for older children with pool table, table tennis, board games and wide screen TV for sports events, or those under 12 can join in the fun if supervised.

A Kids Programme runs year round from Monday – Friday from 9 am – 4 pm with activities bookable in 1 – 1.5 hour slots catering for children age 5 plus.  These include ball games, paining, cricket and fisherman!  There are also a babysitting service available at a set rate.

The Deluxe Beachfront Rooms sleep 2 adults and 1 child whilst 2 children can share Luxury and Cove Suites.  The 3 bedroom penthouses, Turtle Cottage, Pelican House & Rock Cottage are perfect for families or groups.

 

Sustainability

Blue Waters have recently started a plastic reducing initiative, they have implemented refillable water stations throughout the hotel alongside complimentary BPA-free water bottles for guests upon arrival. They have also introduced Neem avenue products in all bathrooms and public areas, which has massively reduced the levels of single use plastic within the resort.

Location

The resort is set within Soldiers Bay, an exclusive residential area with complete privacy on Antigua’s North Coast. Blue Waters is West facing allowing all day sun and breath-taking sunsets. The bay offers wonderful calm waters for swimming.

There is a 9-hour flight from London to the island’s airport VC Bird International Airport. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport.
