Anantara Hotel & Resorts have a strong focus on sustainability and strive to operate in a way that is beneficial to the local communities. Anantara The Palm is working on reducing its plastic consumption: first to go were plastic key cards – guests now access their rooms by paper cards – as well as plastic stirrers and straws for drinks. The staff and guests are also encouraged to reduce their plastic consumption so the hotel can reach their goal of 0% disposable plastic across the resort.

These efforts have been recognised with an award from the Dubai Sustainable Tourism initiative who set targets for the city’s hotels and hold annual Sustainability Awards to recognise top achievers.

Set on the Eastern Crescent of the man-made Palm Island, Anantara the Palm is a 40-minute drive from Dubai Airport.
