Overview

Guide Price & Inclusions

9 nights £3,900 per adult and £1,400 per child under 12 sharing including flights, transfers and accommodation.

Rates subject to travel dates and accommodation selection.

Suggested Extensions

Perhaps include a stop in Hiroshima or head to Hakone and Mount Fuji to enjoy a soak in the hot springs and the beautiful mountain scenery. During the summer months, time on the beach at tropical Ishigaki may be welcome whilst Winter’s the ideal time to see the Snow monkeys in the Japanese Alps.

Best Time to Travel

This itinerary can be enjoyed year-round, but Spring and Autumn are the best time to visit. Spring is cherry blossom season so it will be busy and you should expect sights to be crowded. July and August can be incredibly hot and humid particularly in the cities, but this is a lovely time for hiking in the Alps or heading to the beaches.

Tips for Families

Keep children happy on journeys by stocking up on a diverse range of drinks and snacks from vending machines and 7-Eleven outlets, both of which can be found around every corner!

  • Delve deeper into Japanese culture in Kyoto
  • Try on a kimono and take part in an authentic tea ceremony
  • Ride the high-speed Shinkansen Bullet Train
