Flying with Children
Children under 12 are charged a reduced rate for their flights, typically around 75% of the standard adult fare, plus taxes. However, if you are travelling with a child under 2 years, they can travel for a nominal fare of approx. 10%, on the basis they will sit on a parent's lap and not have their own seat.
If you have a small baby, there is also the option of booking a bassinette which fixes to the wall of the bulk head area. British Airways also have a reclining chair suitable for children up to the age of 2 years. Please note that we may not be able to guarantee this special seating in advance as often these areas are prioritised by age.
