Wild about Borneo, Young Adventurers
Discover the pristine rainforests of Borneo as you accompany your guide in search of wild orangutans and pygmy elephants. Cool off with a snorkel in warm waters teeming with marine life or kick back and relax on glorious golden beaches. With July and August offering favourable weather conditions, Borneo is so much more than a beach flop.

Fly to Sandakan, perhaps having enjoyed a stop-over en route in the bustling metropolis that is Kuala Lumpur, and transfer to Sepilok Nature Resort for 2 nights, from where you can visit the famous Orangutan Sanctuary and Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Then set off by boat to the Kinabatangan Wetlands where you'll enjoy a 3 day/ 2 night stay - plenty of time to try and spot orangutans in the wild as well as pygmy elephants and proboscis monkeys, which gather at the river-side at the end of each day.
Leaving the jungle behind, return to Sandakan for your flight to Kota Kinabalu - surely the perfect beach finale to complete this wonderful wildlife adventure. Choose from the resort facilities of the Shangri-La, or a more boutique experience on Gaya Island. We then highly recommend a stop-over in Singapore for a spot of culture and shopping before it's time to return home.
