Ultimate Seychelles, Travel with Teens

The Seychelles offers a supreme combination of relaxed island life alongside the opportunity to explore with your teens one of the most breathtaking archipelagos on earth, cradled by the Indian Ocean. Whilst Mahe is a charming island to discover by hire car, we recommend at least a 2 centre holiday, combining your time here with Praslin, home to the renowned  Valle de Mai, and from where you can take the ferry to La Digue, a car-free island famed for its beaches around the World.

Upon arrival in to Mahe, the main yet idyllic island of the Seychelles, take your transfer to your chosen resort for 4 nights. Relax and enjoy the facilities on offer but you will be richly rewarded if you also opt to explore the secret bays and luxuriant mountainous interior further afield and visit the bustling local market to taste a slice of local island life.

Today depart for Praslin for 3 further nights, the second largest island, only a 15 minute flight or 45 minute Ferry from Mahe. At its heart lies the Valle de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage site once thought to be the original Garden of Eden and home to ancient palms and the Coco-de-Mer (the largest seed in the plant kingdom). A day trip by local ferry to La Digue should also feature on your agenda, where you can cycle to beaches showcasing pristine curves of white sand dotted with granite outcrops rising from azure seas.

Upon departure, take your transfer to Praslin Airport and fly to Mahe connecting with your flight home.

suggested extensions

For a true overview of what the Seychelles has to offer, we recommend considering an extension to the outer-island heaven that is Desroches for a castaway yet luxury experience. With regular flight connections to Africa, an authentic safari is also only a few hours away and as flights from Europe are via the Middle East, a stop over here is also a simple addition to any Seychelles itinerary.
