Wild Beaches and Safari with Friends and Family, Friends & Family
This itinerary gives you the opportunity to share in the adventure of a safari combined by a private house on the beach in the Garden Route. With a straightforward drive between the two, it will minimise travel time, an advantage when travelling as a group, yet provide contrasting experiences. However, if you are feeling more adventurous, take the 4 hour flight over to Mauritius for a tropical finish!
Arrive in to Johannesburg after your overnight flight and connect with your flight to George. Take your transfer / collect your hire cars and drive to Plettenberg Bay (approx 1 hour) for your first 4 nights. Whilst staying in your private house, relax or be active on the wild sandy beaches with forested backdrop. Locally you can also visit animal sanctuaries such as Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird sanctuary in the world.
