One of the world’s natural wonders, few places can top the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Grand Canyon. With depths reaching over a mile, many choose to visit by helicopter from Las Vegas or there are 3 main Rim viewing areas. The South Rim is the most accessible and the best option if you are short of time with plenty of amenities. The more remote North Rim, only open May-Oct, is ideal for combining with the towering sandstone monoliths of Zion and Bryce National Parks (located in Utah). The West Rim, located just outside the National Park, is only a couple of hours drive from Las Vegas and most well-known for the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass bridge which juts out over the rim of the Canyon with breath-taking (quite literally!) views.

Scottsdale, featuring many luxurious resorts and golf courses, provides access to the Sedona Desert with its dramatic Red Rocks landscape. Activities here include off-roading, night-time treks and hot air ballooning. Head further south and Tucson offers the opportunity to stay on a Dude Ranch amidst the unique backdrop of the giant Saguaro cacti.

Surrounded by the desert landscape, the glitzy resort town of Las Vegas is famous for its elaborate themed hotels, casinos, spectacular shows and non-stop energy! Take a stroll down the neon illuminated ‘Strip’ and see the dancing fountains outside the Bellagio hotel.
