Menu

The elegant Le Parker Meridien boasts luxurious style, a relaxed vibe and a bustling midtown location. As well as being just steps away from the 57th Street subway station and close to some of the city’s top cultural destinations including MOMA and Carnegie Hall, it’s also home to one of Manhattan’s best kept secrets; the Burger Joint.  Hidden in the lobby of the hotel, this cult onsite restaurant serves unbelievably good burgers - probably the best you’ll have in New York. With its quirky and unique décor, two more fantastic restaurants and an indoor rooftop pool with the most amazing panoramic views over Central Park, you’ll soon understand why it’s one of our favourite NYC hotels.

The suites offer all the great features that the rooms have but the Junior Suites also offer a sitting area and queen-size pull-out sofa bed, and the larger suites (Corner Suite and Central Park Suite) come with a separate bedroom, living area and a dining area/kitchenette. The Diplomatic Suite and Presidential Suite are the largest spaces and also offer luxurious bathrooms with two sinks, separate bathtub and large walk-in shower.

  • facilities & activities

The facilities at Le Parker Meridien are outstanding. From the moment you step into the sophisticated lobby you are surrounded by unique décor and all the great services you would expect from four star luxurious accommodation; valet parking, a fantastic Concierge service, tour desk, same-day laundry and dry cleaning and a shoe shine.

The indoor heated rooftop pool is simply stunning. The pool room, with its floor to ceiling windows, has outrageously good views over Central Park. Should you want to top up your tan there’s a great outdoor sundeck too.  Or if you venture down to The Underground at Le Parker, you will find a one-stop wellness shop boasting a state-of-the-art gym, hair salon and unique spa offering massages and facials using fantastic products that are customised to your requirements. There is even a chic nail bar offering manicures and pedicures complete with luxurious products and iPads at each drying station.

  • dining

Home to two of Manhattan’s favourite restaurants, the food at Le Parker Meridien will certainly not disappoint.  Breakfast and lunch are the specialities at the casual Norma’s, famous for its $1,000 omelette (eggs, lobster and caviar).  Affordable dishes are available too (!) and include pancakes with blueberries and clotted cream, Mango-Papaya Brown Butter Cinnamon Crêpes, eggs Benedict and fantastic smoothies.  The dining room feels classic and sophisticated with its high ceilings and wood panelling – a superb place to eat.

The Burger Joint, sequestered behind curtains in the lobby, is probably the best place in NYC to grab a burger and fries.  Its vinyl booths and sports-page photos taped to the walls give it a retro, funky atmosphere – it’s a Big Apple experience you really won’t forget.

For coffee, cocktails and nibbles try Knave, a really elegant spot to relax in, housed in the hotel’s atrium.  Refreshments are also on offer around the rooftop pool and 24-hour room service is another option.  Should you want to venture further afield, there are plenty of fantastic restaurants just walking distance from the hotel.

  • family

Families are made extremely welcome at Le Parker Meridien. After a long day’s sightseeing around the city, the swimming pool is always a huge hit with kids and they will love the Burger Joint. Norma’s restaurant has a Children’s Menu too or there is the option of eating in your room or venturing out to try one of the many restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Central Park is only two blocks away, so is particularly handy to let the children run free.

Cots are available for no extra charge and for a nightly fee there are rollaway beds that can fit in any room with a king size bed. Suites are a good option for families; as well as a king size bed, there is a queen-size pull-out sofa in the sitting room area. Interconnecting rooms are also available, subject to availability.

Babysitting can be arranged on request.

The hotel is less than 20 miles from JFK International Airport and Newark International Airport. LaGuardia International Airport is less than 10 miles from the hotel. Valet parking is available.
