Comfort is the name of the game here. The 10-story resort’s 338 guestrooms contain pillowtop mattresses with fine linens and a choice of bed-type options (subject to availability). Select rooms feature furnished balconies or juliet-style balconies with wrought-iron railings and sliding glass doors providing ocean or mountain views.
The Dolphin Wing is only two-storey high, the Lanai rooms, lead out to a patio from which you can watch the dolphins play, truly unique. This Wing is also home to the Beach Front Lanai Rooms, which open on to a patio with the soft sand only steps away.
Bathrooms feature luxurious toiletries, chenille bathrobes, and makeup mirrors whilst not to be left out, rooms feature coffeemakers and personal bars, CD and VCRs/DVD players and 40-inch, flat-screen televisions.

A great central oval-shaped pool provides the focus of relaxation, alongside the 800 metres of pristine beach. If you're feeling more active, you can hire masks & snorkels, body boards, paddle boards and kayaks as well as additional shade areas.
A big pull here is the Dolphin Quest Encounter - learn about the resident Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins first hand in a personal encounter with these intelligent mammals.
The CHI Health Energy Fitness Center also features a state of the art gym overlooking the ocean. Exercise classes are also available for a fee, anyone for SUP Yoga, that's Yoga on a stand up paddle board for those of you not in the know!
Explore locally by complimentary bicycle or take to one of the jogging routes. Further afield there is much to discover on the island and the Concierge will be happy to ensure your trip is brimming with experiences to remember.

Enjoy making the most of the warm weather at Plumeria Beach House, the hotel's open air all day dining restaurant. The signature Kahala Burger is sure to keep you going until cocktail hour when you can try a speciality Mango Mojito!
Or for a change of venue, head for a relaxed lunch on the edge of the Pacific Ocean at the Seaside Grill, featuring tables right on the beach, giving you a true holiday feel.
The Veranda is also popular with locals as a spot to enjoy afternoon tea, and with beautiful views form up high, is also a great spot to treat yourself to a selection of wines by the glass from top vintners around the world.
Open for evening dining, award-winning Hoku is heralded for merging Hawaiian flavours with those from across the world. Or for a Mediterranean treat, Arancino showcases innovative Italian cuisine prepared in a display kitchen. Whilst you can still find a Pizza Margherita on the menu, more exotic toppings include appeals, walnuts and honey!

‘Keiki’ is the Hawaiian word for child, and at The Kahala they have their own special club (fee applies). It’s the perfect place for 5 to 12 year olds to make friends and to learn about the Hawaiian culture. Activities include, reef walking, snorkeling, Hawaiian Legend storytelling, Bamboo pole fishing, Lei making, Hula Dancing, Crabbing Observing Hawaiian marine life and Hawaiian Art
Most of the great variety of room types are suitable for families, featuring 2 x double beds or rollaways added for a charge. Connecting options are also available. However, for something truly special, upgrade to a room in the Dolphin Wing and you can watch them play morning, noon and night from your balcony. Rooms can be equipped with infant bathtubs, bottle warmers and strollers, all you have to do is ask!
Children's menus are available in the restaurants so family dining should be a pleasure (subject to behaviour!). Or dine out without younger guests in tow, babysitters can be arranged for a fee.
