Walt Disney World Resort is home to 6 theme parks; the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park (including Pandora: World of Avatar), Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks.  

Universal Studios Florida incorporates Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure (home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter no less). Tickets are available to include both the parks as well as Volcano Bay waterpark.  We highly recommend a day at SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens in Tampa too, not to mention Kennedy Space Centre!

The Paradise Coast, on the Gulf of Mexico acts as a springboard for the Everglades National Park, the largest subtropical wilderness in the States. Search for alligators in the ‘River of Grass’ by air-boat or explore the Ten Thousand Islands by Jet Ski and you may find you have the company of local dolphins! At the most southern point of the state, the Florida Keys consist of a string of islands extending to the Gulf, offering some of the best fishing and scuba-diving in the world.

Atlantic-facing Miami is known for its vibrancy and hispanic culture. Miami Beach is in fact a city built on a sand-bar, whilst South Beach is full of palatial homes and excellent restaurants. Just over an hour north you will also find some lovely stretches of beach at Boca Raton.
