    The resort boasts a total of 88 luxurious rooms and suites that are arranged into 12 individually styled lodges, helping the resort to retain an intimate feel. Each set of rooms has its own lounge with floor to ceiling windows offering wonderful views.

    Rooms feature extremely comfortable queen or king size beds, beautiful linens and wonderful down duvets. Furnishings are tasteful and bathrooms luxurious with soaker tubs and separate upscale showers.

    Facilities here are world class and offer guests a seemingly endless list of opportunities to relax. On the site itself guests can visit the outdoor pool with breathtaking views overlooking the ocean and luxurious spa with fantastic hydrotherapy tub and a wonderful selection of treatments. For a real treat try one of the spa’s particularly noteworthy facial treatments including facial plumping collagen enhancement.

    Film buffs will love relaxing in the resort’s own 12 seat cinema and should you wish to simply kick back and enjoy a book visit the wonderful conservatory – the perfect spot for reading. There is also an outdoor fire pit, perfect for unwinding at the end of a busy day of adventures with a mug of cocoa. Other onsite facilities include a covered tennis court, pool, billiards, foosball and shuffleboard tables, golf simulators, nine hole putting green, two stocked fly fishing ponds and mountain bikes to borrow.

    Outdoor adventures nearby in the pristine wilderness are truly spectacular. The resort offers guests its own fleet of 12 seater boats from which its knowledgeable guides will help you view wildlife including seals, dolphins, eagles and – of course – grizzly bears. You can even borrow digital cameras for the day here to make sure you capture your experience.

    Fishing enthusiasts are in for a real treat with some of the most exciting salmon fishing on the West Coast and wonderful guides to show you the perfect spots – you can even cook your catch here in the evening. The surrounding lakes teem with trout too for those wishing to fly fish - and all levels of ability are welcome. Kayaking through the nearby Outer Discovery Islands with professional guides is another thrilling adventure to try as is white river rafting.

    There is also an 18-hole golf course nearby set within woods with ponds and salmon streams woven throughout.

    For a real thrill take a helicopter up to a mountain glacier vantage point with a picnic!

    The resort boasts an award winning head chef, Terry Pichor, who is classically French trained. He sources the finest local ingredients to help celebrate this wonderful region. The resort also has a fantastic wine cellar offering everything from the best locally sourced wines to classic French Bordeaux or complex Tuscan vintage. A stay here is on an all-inclusive basis with all meals and drinks included.

    The resort boasts a Games Room filled with both hi tech and traditional games that younger members of your party will enjoy. Younger guests will also love the many outdoor adventure opportunities nearby. Those particularly suited to children include eco tours, salmon fishing, river and helicopter fly-fishing, golfing, rafting and snorkeling with salmon, kayaking and grizzly bear tours.

    The accommodation, which comes with its own lounge and options for adjacent rooms, is also well suited to families.

    Nestled between Vancouver Island and the west coast of Canada and with no roads or cities in sight, guests arrive here from Vancouver by helicopter, seaplane or by water taxi from Campbell River.

    There is a 10-hour direct flight from the UK to Vancouver. A 50-minute helicopter transfer from Vancouver to the resort is then available from London Air Services. A one hour and 15 minute scenic water taxi ride is also available from Campbell River’s Discovery Harbour Marina daily.
