    Desert Nights Camp offers 30 Bedouin style en-suite air-conditioned tents. Bedrooms feature queen size or twin beds and bathrooms are fully equipped with hot water showers in en-suite bathroom. All tents have a cosy sit-out which offers a panoramic view of the golden Wahiba sands, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge, seating areas inside and outside.

    Families can share one of the larger 2 Bedroomed tents. There is also the Deluxe Tented Suite with Attached Unit, which comprises of a Double & Single room.

    Facilities at the camp include a dining area, bar, a lounge with DVD library, and a telescope for stargazing.

    This unique experience offers you the opportunity to enjoy camel rides around the camp along with watching the magicals sunsets from the top of a dune!  Whether you are a thrill seeker or just looking to explore the desert’s hidden secrets, there are a whole host of other activites which can be arranged including dune bashing, sand-boarding, quad bike riding, trekking, camel safaris and trips into the desert (additional charges apply).

    Please note for safety reasons, dune bashing, sand-boarding and quad bike riding are only for children 8 years & over.

    The camp has a dining and recreation area where magical nights can be spent relaxing by the campfire after a sumptuous barbecued feast with a glass of mint tea. The restaurant serves International, Indian, Chinese, Arabic and Continental cuisine and there is a bar with an exotic range of cocktails and satellite TV.

  • family

    Children are welcome, however, there are no specific facilities for them at the camp and age restrictions apply for some activities.

  • location

    The camp is only a 3-hour drive away from Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. It is sprawled across 10-acres of sand dunes, secluded 11km within the vast isolation of the Omani desert.
