rooms
There are three separate sections of accommodation in the resort offering a total of 292 rooms and suites - Mina A’Salam, Dar Al Masyaf and Al Qasr – all of which are linked by waterways. Mina A’Salam and Al Qasr are both grand boutique hotels while Dar Al Masyaf is made up of a collection of summer houses.
Mina A’Salam, the most modestly priced of the three options, means ‘harbour of peace’ and is the gateway to the resort and entry point from which numerous waterways and walkways thread their way to all corners of the resort. The hotel has an Old Arabic style with a grand lobby and rooms offering the subdued luxury of dark woods.
Al Qasr is the more luxurious of the two hotels and thought of as the palace at the heart of Madinat Jumeirah. It is designed in the style of a Sheikh’s summer residence using traditional royal architecture coupled with modern amenities. and feels opulent without being bling. It offers exquisite guest rooms and suites with a choice of views of the resort or ocean. The elegant Arabic style rooms feature king size beds and spacious bathrooms with walk in rain showers.
Dar al Masyaf, a collection of stunning standalone two storey summer houses spread around the resort and linked by waterways, is the most exclusive section of the complex. These are inspired by the traditional courtyard summer houses of old Arabia and offer exquisitely designed hideaways – we think you will love their boutique hotel feel. The resort also features seven larger Jumeirah Malakiya Villas.
All rooms and suites offer complimentary internet access, air-conditioning, satellite TVs, mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities.

facilities & activities
The facilities at Madinat Jumeirah are both extensive and impressive– with plenty to absorb every age group and interest.
With three kilometres of winding waterways within the resort one of the most enjoyable ways to get around is by traditional Abras – or water taxi. Guests can meander along here with a guide just to get from place to place or simply to soak up the resort’s wonderful vistas.
If you fancy a cooling dip, all the resort’s hotels offer large swimming pools and the summer houses offer smaller shared pools. All guests also have free access to the nearby Wild Wadi Waterpark. If you prefer salt water the resort’s private, pristine two kilometre beach also awaits.
At Madinat Jumeirah there’s no need to leave the hotel to experience Dubai’s world famous shops. At the heart of the resort lies its own air conditioned reconstructed traditional souk offering a wonderful bazaar atmosphere with a wide variety of fashion, jewellery, antique and perfume boutiques as well as world-class restaurants and bars.
Sport lovers will enjoy the five tennis courts, squash, aerobics and Talise Fitness Health Club with high altitude suite and climbing wall. The resort’s award –winning Talise spa with 26 private treatment rooms will soothe away any aches and pains after your exertions.
Culture vultures will delight in the resort’s own theatre which stages everything from musicals, films and stand up comedy to ballet. Two grand ballrooms are also on offer.

dining
This resort truly manages to pull off both world class quality and variety in its dining options. With 44 restaurants and bars to choose from it will take several stays at the hotel for most guests to sample all there is to try.
Options range from sophisticated sea food dining to authentic Arabian and Spanish tapas to progressive five star Chinese banquets. Take your taste buds on a trip around the world in the resort’s Mexican, Thai and Lebanese restaurants (we think you’ll love the live Lebanese music here along with the best beach side view in Dubai) or simply opt for some Deep South BBQ heritage at Dubai’s first ever smokehouse. Vegetarians will adore the resort’s Magnolia restaurant, dedicated to creating perfectly balance vegetarian cuisine.
If you like a view with your pre dinner cocktail try the Bahri bar overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the Burj Al Arab or stylish rooftop Koubba bar. Afternoon tea – very much a time honoured tradition in the Middle East – is also served to perfection in several areas of the resort.
