    Each of the hotel’s suites are generously proportioned, boasting plush king-sized or twin poster beds, Peruvian marble bathrooms with underfloor heating and 24-hour butler service. Deluxe ‘Z collection’ suites also contain original Inca and colonial design features. All suites can be enriched with oxygen to help combat the negative effects of Cusco’s high altitude. You may also choose to have the space scented with healing Andean aromas. Room categories include Junior Suites, Suites, Premium Suites, Palacio Suite and Nazarenas Suite as follows:

    Junior Suites, with either king-sized or twin poster beds, are located in the historic part of the hotel with evocative courtyard views. These suites benefit from a small sitting area with a dining table and chairs.

    Studio Suites, also with king-sized or twin poster beds, are Found across the hotel, and offer extra-large marble bathrooms as well as a sitting area. Many also enjoy sublime garden views.

    Inca Studio Suites are located in the historic part of the hotel, these dramatic suites combine contemporary comfort with original Inca features and courtyard views.

    City View Studio Suites are on the second and third floors, these suites benefit from an inviting balcony overlooking the San Blas district of Cusco.

    Deluxe Studio Suites: savour the luxury of space with these oversized suites. Situated close to the pool, they include views of the garden and many include a personal terrace.

    Deluxe City View Studio Suites: these suites offer the same indulgent features as the City View Studio Suites but with extra added space. Beautiful balconies provide the perfect place to soak up the views of San Blas.

    One-bedroom Suites with king-sized or twin poster beds, offer two separate areas in which to fully relax. Rooms benefit from uniquely high ceilings and peerless views across the lush hotel garden.

    Senzo Restaurant - a destination bistro offering contemporary Andean cuisine, combining fresh regional ingredients with modern flair, also the location for the fantastic breakfast buffet where you are serenaded by an Andean musician as you fesast.

    Senzo Bar - wines, spirits and cocktails, pool menu with light dishes and snacks and a traditional fruit and vegetable cart for juices and salads

    Dining at Belmond Hotel Monasterio - guests are welcome to enjoy the restaurants and bars at the nearby sister hotel

     

    On Sundays, the hotel puts on a delicious poolside BBQ with a buffet of side dishes and desserts, all accompanied by live music (children under 12, 50% discount)

    Afternoon tea is a special occasion at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas - learn all about the local herbs used to make infusions and then cut a selection to prepare for tasting, alongside assorted cookies, sandwiches, cakes and brownies. Served everyday 3:30-6pm (reservations necessary).

    Belmond go to great lengths to make families feel welcome and whilst there might not be the more obvious family facilities, staff will go out of their way to make sure you have everything for a comfortable stay. 

    One child, age five or younger, can stay free of charge sharing existing bedding with parents. Children six and older require an additional room (connecting suites are subject to availability). 

    Children eight and younger will also take home a 'Misky' - a toy hotel mascot.

    Set in the heart of historic Cusco, close to restaurants, shops and museums but tucked away on a pleasantly quiet square, the hotel is just 5km from the airport. Transfers can be arranged or there are plentiful taxis. Machu Picchu lies 4 hours away (by car and train) and the Sacred Valley is about an hour;'s drive by car. Both Limja and Arequipa can be reached in about an hour by air from Cusco airport.
