Set on the banks of the Urubamba River amidst towering mountains and within delightful gardens, this luxury hotel provides a wonderful home from which to explore this fascinating area. Built in natural materials to resemble an authentic Andean village it is located 4 km outside Urubamba on the way to Ollantaytambo. Situated at a lower altitude than nearby Cusco, the hotel provides the perfect environment in which to acclimatise. Enjoy a cooling dip in the heated swimming pool or simply relax and take in the sights and sounds of the river while you lounge on a sunbed, Pisco Sour in hand. There is also a lovely Spa, offering a range of treatments- perfect for an indulgent end to a day of exploring. With just 21 beautifully furnished villas and suites, all with private terraces overlooking the river, you are assured of a peaceful, relaxing stay. Guests stay on a bed and breakfast basis but are usually tempted by the wonderful restaurant offering exquisite candle-lit meals in the evening.

There are a choice of accommodation options, including Deluxe Terrace Rooms, Garden Junior Suites as well as Villa Capulí and Villa Orquídea.

    The Villa Capuli with three en-suite bedrooms, living area and kitchen has riverfront access and features local artwork and textiles, as well as under-floor heating and spacious bathrooms with rain-head showers. Relax on the terrace, admiring the beautifully landscaped gardens and listening to the roaring Urubamba River. Upon request a personal housekeeper is available.

    Children are welcome here and there are some great accommodation options for families. The Junior suites are larger and the two three-bedroom villas are ideal for families of 4 or more.     The hotel is located on the edge of Urubamba town, 46km from Cusco and an excellent base for visiting Machu Picchu. It even has its own station for the ultimate convenience.
