There are original frescoes, reliefs, and even a chapel long hidden from view. There are just 41 rooms located around two courtyards, some in the original colonial manor house, and others across 4 floors of a sensitively designed modern wing of the hotel. The hotel is beautifully illuminated at night and is in the heart of Arequipa’s historic quarter, just around the corner from the Santa Catalina Monastery so perfectly sited for exploring this lovely colonial town on foot. Guests usually stay on a bed & breakfast basis and enjoy trying out some of the lovely local eateries.
