The 11 beautifully furnished rooms each pay homage to a famous face from the past.

There are a choice of four Classic Rooms: The Rebel, The Gaucho, The Patron of the Arts and The Girl from the Slum. Whichever you opt for, you will find lovely linens and carefully selected details which make each room unique and special.

The four elegantly furnished Superior Rooms, range from 26-28 m, each with an individual theme- The Writer, The Liberator, The Painter and the Hero.

Additionally, there are three Deluxe Rooms which are particularly spacious and have the added appeal of an open fireplace. Two of the rooms have hydro-massage baths, and one has a Scottish Shower (alternating hot and cold water jets). Inspired by charismatic Eva Peron, ‘The First Lady’ has a soothing, feminine colour scheme offset by black and white photos of the famous lady herself. ‘The Idealist’, pays homage to the revolutionary ‘Che’ Guevara and is altogether more masculine. Carlos Gardel, the tango singer, might be less well known outside of Latin America, but he is synonymous with Buenos Aires so it is not surprising that a room has been created in his honour.

Most rooms can be configured as either a double or a twin and there is a pillow menu available on request. Rooms offer all modern amenities such as LCD TV, DVD player, cable, Wi-Fi, stocked mini-bar, heating/ air-conditioning, safe and telephone.

Rates include breakfast, free Wi-Fi, access to the Jacuzzi, welcome drink and room service twice a day, as well as turndown service in the evening.

Guests have the option of a late checkout at 6:00 PM for an additional charge of 50% of the Standard rate, subject to availability.

The hotel has a specially-fitted room for movement-impaired guests.

There is a lovely solarium on the roof- wooden deck, hydro massage for 6 people, showers and deckchairs- providing a little oasis of calm in the city and the perfect spot to relax after a day spent sight-seeing. Additionally, there is a thoughtfully stocked library so you can read all about the various personalities who have inspired the rooms. As you might expect, there is free Wi-Fi throughout.

Guests stay on a bed & breakfast basis. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but staff will gladly provide advice about some of the fantastic places to eat locally. Another popular option is to catch a taxi to the centre to see an evening tango show over dinner.

The airy, arty sitting room at Legado Mitico provides a focus for guests to eat breakfast, read the papers, listen to Argentine music, or maybe have a light bite for lunch- either way, the staff will attend to your every need as you relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Rooms offer a fully stocked mini-bar and there is a snack menu available 24 hours a day.

This hotel is aimed at couples with only double rooms available.

location

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the city centre, in the heart of Palermo Soho, with its elegant turn of the century houses, cobbled streets and vibrant buzz. Surrounded by sophisticated restaurants and bars, design houses, small theatres and artists’ studios, it's a wonderful place to explore.

The drive to Buenos Aires International Airport- Ezeiza, takes around 40 minutes, whilst it is about 20 minutes to the airport for domestic departures/ arrivals.

NB that the hotel does not have a private car park.
