Six Senses Zil Pasyon
  • rooms

Resembling a tropical village, the beautiful one and two bedroomed villas are built to merge with the wilderness and enjoy floor to ceiling windows and cool Six- Senses touches: think submerged sun-loungers in the infinity pool and bathroom swing-seats with unhindered views of the sparkling ocean. There are a handful of super-luxy three and four-bedroom private residences complete with private pool terraces and expansive vistas. This luxury is topped off with your own personal ‘GEM’ (Guest Experience Maker) who will help hone and craft the perfect stay. Heaven, right?

  • facilities & activities

This hip resort occupies just a third of the 652-acre island and its eco-friendly credentials are the starting point here. All activities have been carefully curated to ensure maximum enjoyment but delivered with heart-warming care of the pristine environment. From hiking, to water sports, to island hopping, to yoga, it’s all included and with rest of the island left as wilderness, it’s your own private paradise to explore. Start the day watching turtles hatch on the resort’s beach (seasonal), hike out into the forested centre with the island ecologist and learn about the local flora and fauna, spend the afternoon island-hopping from the resort’s own private yacht and then finish off under the stars at the open air cinema on the beach. And that’s all before you’ve discovered the spa, a Six Senses ultimate in restoration and rejuvenation.

  • dining

The Island Café serves up a mix of European, Asian and African dishes dished up with flavoursome spices brought by the trade winds. Breakfast is served here, and snacks are available throughout the day. The Ocean Kitchen is known for its fresh seafood sourced from the local fishermen and served up with organic vegetables from the resort’s own garden. Start the evening at the Robinson Crusoe style honesty bar, Lakanbiz, with a home-infused rum or sample fresh cocktails at Koko Bar by the pool.

  • family

The resort has a great kid’s club for children aged 4 – 12 with a two-story tree house and an awesome archaeological sand pit, while the in-house library has a good selection of toys and books. The Two Bed Villas are an ideal choice for a family while the larger, super-luxurious, residences offer up to four bedrooms, perfect for the multi-generational family holiday! Babysitting is also available on request.

  • location

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the sole resort on Félicité. Considered one of the satellites of La Digue, the island is encircled by Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, Coco and Marianne and offers the ultimate island-hopping experience. The resort is set on the island’s north side facing La Digue - just a short hop from Praslin or La Digue via speedboat or, for the more adventurous, an exhilarating 20-minute helicopter from Mahé with Zil Air (operates after sunrise and before sunset only). Alternate arrivals can be made by a short private boat trip from neighbouring Praslin or La Digue island. Domestic flights from Mahé airport to Praslin airport can be booked through Air Seychelles for scheduled flights.

The exceptional location of Félicité Island outside the cyclone belt offers virtual perpetual summer. The warmest time of year is generally April, with a few drops of rain likely between December and February, although it never stays long.
