facilities & activities
This resort goes way beyond the typical facilities on offer at many resorts. Treetop yoga, kite-surfing, free-diving and sailing/ diving with a resident marine biologist are just some of the activities available, as well as island-hopping excursions where you can learn how locals build their houses and prepare food. Watch dolphins whilst sipping champagne on a sunset safari, book a picnic on a deserted island or learn about the night sky over a four-course astronomical dinner cruise.
There’s also a fun, open-air cinema and an observatory for star-gazing, and you can even learn how to blow glass in the on-site glass art studio. The resort has an award-winning spa that offers a wide range treatments - including hot stone massages and body wraps - amidst wonderful surroundings. Everything can be booked by Mr or Mrs Friday, your personal butler.

dining
There’s ample choice of good quality, fresh food. The resort has its own organic vegetable and herb gardens, and guests can take a tour of the wine cellar - home to more than 7,000 bottles - with the resident sommelier.
'Down to Earth' features an open kitchen where chefs prepare a mouth-watering array of dishes in front of you. The elevated 'Fresh in the Garden' restaurant is surrounded by banana trees and serves Mediterranean-style dishes, made using ingredients you can see growing below your seat. 'Mihiree Mitha' serves deliciously fresh sushi, while 'Sobah’s' is a traditional Maldivian restaurant set on an uninhabited island a 15-minute speedboat ride away.
Each restaurant has options for children, as well as menus available for guests who are vegetarian, vegan, celiac and gluten-intolerant. Children will love the Willy Wonka-style chocolate room, and there’s also an ice-cream parlour serving up to 65 different flavours. There’s more to come, with a new over-water restaurant, complete with slide, opening soon.
