80 luxury villas and suites are dotted along both the sunset and sunrise side of the beach and boast breath-taking views of the turquoise lagoon. Tastefully furnished with natural materials, designed to blend with their beautiful surroundings. All have a semi-open bathroom with bathtub, separate indoor or outdoor shower plus a private deck which extends to the beach or lagoon, offering spectacular sea views.

The Beach Bungalows are set on both the sunrise and sunset side of the island, nestled into lush greenery with direct access to the beach. The more spacious Beach Villas are on the sunrise side of the island while the Beach Pool Villas are larger still and positioned to enjoy the famous Maldivian sunset from your own private plunge pool!

Water Villas are set suspended on stilts in the turquoise lagoon with 2 Water Pool Villas also enjoying the benefits of a private overwater plunge pool.

There are five restaurants and two bars to choose from, all in stunning settings; from casual barefoot-dining on the beach to a private culinary experience in Kanuhura’s magnificent herb garden. A Mano is the buffet restaurant open for breakfast and dinner with live cooking stations and themed evenings. Bottega offers a taste of Italy and a wine cellar complete with premium vintages, while Veli is beach-side dining at its best, serving exotic Asian flavours. For the ultimate barefoot dining experience catch the boat shuttle to the exclusive island of Jehunuhura and enjoy lunch on this secluded tropical gem. If you’re in need of something light, the Deli is the place to head. It offers a host of delicious teas, freshly-brewed coffees, sandwiches and sweet delights. Picnic baskets are prepared on request for those of you who want to go out and explore.

Kids under 12 not only stay for free when booked in their parents’ villa but eat for free when ordering from the kids menus on the same meal plan as their parents. Kanuhura is a paradise for the whole family and the children enjoy a luxury hideaway all of their own.

The exceptional kids club is stylishly designed with the same creative bohemian flair as the rest of the resort, it boasts an air-conditioned indoor area perfect for playing games and taking naps. The outdoor area has been carefully created to suit young explorers; the covered terrace offers a safe place for your kids to indulge their creative sides as they paint masterpieces and decorate cupcakes. There is also a splash pool ornately decorated by a three-metre high purple flower “waterfall” and a wonderful wooden jungle gym, which curious and active kids can enjoy to their hearts’ content.
At the K Club, there is no limit to the possibilities—over and above the facilities at the club itself, kids can partake in a range of water sports (from banana tube rides and sailing to Jetlev), and explore the underwater world (supervised by expert kids club counsellors, of course). There are also weekly cooking classes, arts and crafts workshops, fishing trips, movie nights (set under the incredible Maldivian night sky), scavenger hunts and chocolate making classes included in the kids club programme.

The K Club is a complimentary service (with some activities offered for a nominal fee) open daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm and is offered to children between the ages of 4 and 11, with age-appropriate activities enjoyed in two age groups: 4-7 and 8-11. Babysitting services are also available at an extra charge and all kids below 4 years old must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter
While teens don’t quite require the attention of younger fans, at Kanuhura they are definitely not forgotten. The programme for teens includes an array of exciting more age-appropriate activities such as football, beach volleyball and fishing trips.
