rooms
There are 103 beautiful thatched beach and water villas; elegantly decorated and opulently adorned, they have high ceilings creating a wonderful sense of space. Wooden floors, typically Maldivian coral walls (re-using old coral) and large, comfy beds with down pillows add to the overall sense of luxury. They offer features such as private plunge pools and large outdoor living spaces with views across the stunning lagoon, and the lush vegetation surrounding each domain ensures privacy. All bungalows, villas, and suites include: King or twin beds, hair dryer, internet access, satellite TV, DVD and CD player, safe, iron and ironing board on request, tea and coffee facilities, phone and minibar.
The Sunrise and Sunset Water Villas come either with or without a pool. Located along a double-loaded jetty off the north western end of the island, they offer separate glass-fronted living rooms and a sea-gazing loft. The Beach Bungalows with Pools are located on the North side of the island and feature gardens with plunge pools overlooking the lagoon with separate living and sleeping areas. You can dine and relax in your open-air bale (traditional thatched hut), cool off in your pool, and soak up some rays in your private garden surround. The bathrooms are sleek and contemporary and feature overflowing baths, family-size indoor shower and al fresco shower garden.
The Beach Villas with Pools, located on the South side of the island, have direct access to the beach and include lap pool surrounded by deck and daybeds. The living area is a sand-floor open pavilion whilst the sleeping area is air-conditioned.
For an über-luxe hideaway residence, there are the three-bedroom, two-storey estates which feature a private 80-metre beach, two pools, a Stargazing Lounge, a vast al fresco living space, and 24-hour assistance from caring, dedicated staff. Or you could spend your nights suspended over the soothing ocean in one of two sleeping pavilions in the two-bedroom Land and Ocean Suite. The two bedroom Royal Beach Villa has a private lap pool and allows you to access stretches of pure white sand, uninterrupted views of the sapphire sea and the privacy of lush vegetation.
Located at the far end of the water villa jetty, away from the hub of the Resort, revel in the ultimate seclusion of just you and the ocean in the Sunset Two-bedroom Water suite, or there is the Sunrise two-bedroom Water Suite that sits on stilts over water on the north western end the island. Pure, other-worldly luxury!
