To many, the iconic limestone cliffs of Krabi and Phang Nga Bay embody Thailand. It really is one of the most beautiful spots in Asia and really does live up to expectations. You might recognise the area as the baddie’s hideout in The Man with the Golden Gun, but Bond didn’t do it justice. It is not just for honeymooners the area is one of the best places for a first family holiday in Asia. Everyone is entranced by the natural beauty and whether you want to kick back and enjoy the scenery with a cold beer or spend the day diving and snorkelling you will be spoilt for choice.

Serenity seekers should head further south toward Ko Lanta and the surrounding islands with its dense forest tumbling down into coves and beaches. Find a secluded bamboo beach bar, switch of your phone and enjoy!
