Cinnamon Lodge has a variety of categories across its 130 rooms, all of which offer spacious comfortable sleeping and living space with an in-room safe, balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens or the lake, air-conditioning, mini-bar. Your Private Butler can even arrange an in-room spa treatment!
The Superior Rooms overlook the lush vegetation whilst Deluxe Rooms have views over the scenic grounds and boast terracotta and timber floors, with an elevated bed and DVD player. The stylish bathrooms feature a bathtub and separate shower area.
If you are looking for a special treat, we recommend considering a suite. 4 Deluxe suites (Ebony, Ivy, Cedar and Satin) and 2 Superior suites (Banyan and Tamarind) open out to the beautiful views of the gardens and the Habarana Lake. The Superior Suites are spacious, consisting of one bedroom and equipped with all amenities expected of a five star resort. The Deluxe Suites are complete self-contained units which take up the ground and first floor levels of a chalet, with an exquisite master bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom downstairs, as well as a lounge and dining area. The bathroom adjoining the master bedroom features a Jacuzzi, separate shower area, double sinks, and spacious dressing and storage areas for that extra touch of comfort. A Private Butler service is available, around the clock, and in-room spa treatments and in-villa dining can be arranged on request.

The large, uniquely designed swimming pool, abutting the Ehala and Lotus restaurants, has an adjoining shallow pool for children. There are tennis and badminton courts and cycling trails through the forest, as well as plenty of board games for those less inclined to exercise in the heat.

It features an eclectic mix of international cuisine with made-to-order stations and an area entirely devoted to exquisite desserts. Cinnamon Lodge Habarana’s premiere restaurant, the Lotus serves a stylish and healthy take on traditional, local and international favourites. The Lotus is one of the few restaurants in Sri Lanka to offer ‘Organic fine dining’ with fresh produce coming from its very own farm everyday. Bistro-style dining and a menu inspired by eastern and western favourites make The Verandah the perfect spot for late-night dining, a light meal or a coffee and a decadent dessert. Whilst the hotel does not offer any facilities or services specifically for younger guests, families with children of all ages are welcomed. The expansive pool and charming grounds willl certainly be popular with little travellers after a morning climbing the rock at Sigiriya! Many rooms can accommodate an extra bed or connect with an adults bedroom.
