The hotel has two distinct wings. The luxury Ocean Wing with 90 Ocean Wing Junior Suite Sea-View rooms and the Garden Wing. Bushbaby recommends the Ocean wing, as you’ll benefit from an exclusive breakfast restaurant and pool as well as complimentary mini bar (stocked daily) and evening cocktails on the beach.
The Garden Wing features Deluxe Garden View Rooms, ground floor options featuring a private lanai whilst upper floors have a split level layout. Deluxe Sea View Rooms face the Ocean. Superior Rainforest Rooms feature natural wood furnishings and vistas of the tropical landscape from your private balcony. Junior Suites also feture a separate sitting room and can be found on the top floor so boasting great views to boot.
The Ocean Wing Junior Suite Sea-View rooms in the Ocean Wing showcase 90 square metres of lavish living space. Relax in your private outdoor bathtub or enjoy ocean views from your terrace for a truly luxurious experience.

The resorts lagoon style swimming pool with slide is set in lush greenery to give that tropical feel whilst you soak up the sun. Guests of the Ocean Wing also have access to a second quieter pool.
Unique to the resort is the Nature Interpretation Centre. There are many activities that take place from here such as bird watching and jungle walks (additional charges may apply).
If you’re looking for activity on the ocean, a variety of sports, including jet-skiing, kayaking, banana boat rides, windsurfing, fishing, parasailing and diving can be enjoyed at this beach front resort. Most are chargeable but you can enjoy an hour of complimentary Boogie Board and Ocean Kayak usage! Or set off on a bicycle to explore before joining in a game of petanque, table tennis, tennis, beach volleyball, fun sumo-wrestling or beach football! White-water rafting is even available locally, running seasonally and the resort is adjacent to an eco-friendly championship golf course.
CHI, the Spa offers a selection of treatments which showcase the diverse Sabah culture, and incorporate natural botanical and herbal products, all set in relaxing surroundings.

When it comes to dining, you are spoilt for choice with a wide selection of restaurants and bars to sample. All-day dining indoors and al-fresco takes place at the Coffee Terrace whilst Oceano promises a delightful lunch or evening of Italian dining with dishes made from the finest locally and ethically sourced ingredients (this also the exclusive venue for Ocean Wing residents).
Naan – Flavours of India, is the place to head if you’re in the mood for some spicy specialities from India. Kozan Teppanyaki showcases modern Japanese creations, grilled on an iron hotplate at your table, as entertaining as it is tasty! Or opt for traditional Malaysian ‘street food’ at Tepi Laut Makan.
If you are taking time out on the golf course, the Golfers’ Terrace is the perfect place to relax both before or after a round.
As evening approaches, head to the laid-back Sampan Bar, grab a cocktail and enjoy the sunset views. The open air lounge with soaring timber roof, Lobby Lounge, is a lovely place to enjoy a leisurely nightcap whilst listening to relaxing live entertainment. What a day!

A children’s pool with slide will keep them cool and occupied in the sunshine, or they can join in the fun at the complimentary kids club for ages 5 to 11 years, with activities including batik painting and traditional dance. Head to the Sampan Bar at sunset and they can even join in a Blowpipe competition or a spot of giant Jenga!
Children under 12 can enjoy complimentary buffet breakfasts at Oceano and Coffee Terrace and buffet dinners at Coffee Terrace and Tepi Laut when accompanied by a paying adult (maximum of 2 children per adult).
Two children under 12 can share with their parents. In the Garden Wing, one child can sleep on the day bed, and the second would need to sharing parents' bedding as space will be tight for a second child unless they are very young. For more space in the Garden Wing, opt for one of the 6th floor Suites with separate sitting room where 2 children can sleep on day bed and extra bed.
In the Ocean Wing an extra bed can also be added, in addition to the day bed already present. Rooms adjoining by central lobby can also be requested for those travelling with older children.

Kota Kinabalu International Airport is located at Tanjung Aru about a 45 minute drive away dependent on traffic, and accessed by international flight to a variety of international hubs such as Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
