All 173 guestrooms set across 17 riverbank residences are elegantly decorated, with crisp white linens infused with a touch of Africa's tribal warmth.  Facilities include satellite television, air-conditioning, mini bar, mini safe, telephone, tea and coffee-making facilities whilst bathrooms are in Victorian style with a shower and a bath.  However the highlight for many is the private terrace with views over the River.

If you are seeking further space, 3 suites offer a separate lounge and bedroom, while the Presidential Suite offers an additional, optional separate bedroom.

The world renowned Victoria Falls, is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel and as a Royal Livingstone Hotel guest, you have unlimited free access to the Falls via the resort's own private entrance.  Alternatively choose to see the Falls in a more unusual manner, perhaps by helicopter or microlight!  Other adventure activities such as bungi jumping, white water rafting, quad biking and  abseiling can also be arranged for those seeking a full on adrenalin experience!

Safari activities, also payable locally, are also available including visits to Chobe National Park in Botswana is only an hour by road from Livingstone and in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park game drives are in open 4 × 4 vehicles with a knowledgeable guide departing mornings and afternoons from the Day Activity Centre and last about 3 hours.   Elephant and Horse Back Safaris are also available.

On site at the hotel, the tranquil pool enjoys a beautiful position in the gardens whilst the positioning of The Royal Spa on the banks of the Zambezi  allows you feel comfortably ensconced, whilst being aware of the elements that surround you.   The new gym also offers a great work out.

The  Dining Room is a fine à la carte restaurant is a delightful mixture of modern sophistication and old-world style, offering a unique top-class breakfast, ‘alfresco' lunches and a dinner à la carte menu with a dazzling array of dishes from the river and ocean as well as bush and game fare.

For a relaxed lunch in an unforgettable location, the veranda at The Lounge overlooking the rolling lawns and the Zambezi  is a hard spot to beat. Light refreshments are also served throughout the day.  Don't forget to leave room for the traditional High Tea however, celebrated at 15:00 with a selection of scrumptious cakes!

Whilst the hotel welcomes families with a friendly service, rooms cannot accommodate children sharing.  Families can opt for a suite inter-leading with a standard Luxury Room.  Cots are also available upon request.

Food and activities can be tailored to suit younger guests with baby-sitting available on request if you'd like to try that dinner under the Monkey Tree!

The Royal Livingstone by Ananatara stretches along the banks of the Zambezi River, just a short walk to the entrance of The Victoria Falls.  All the adventure activities as well as Livingstone Airport are a mere 15-minute drive away.
